RV Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer
Owning
a new motorhome can open up whole new vistas to those just getting
started in the RV world, but getting behind the wheel of one of these
large vehicles can also present some serious challenges to the
uninitiated. Some make the mistake of assuming that driving a motorhome
is no different than simply operating a large version of their family
van or SUV when, in fact, there's a "big" difference.
Motorhome
drivers face a number of road hazards that don't affect drivers of
smaller vehicles, and they require a much higher degree of active driver
involvement. As a result, it's not unusual for RV drivers to become
quite exhausted from continual over-steering efforts and white-knuckle
driving. Arriving at their destination they may be worn out, suffering
from sore arms, shoulders and a stiff neck. This scenario, however,
needn't be a part of your RV experience.
Installing
a Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer, the #1 name in large vehicle
steering control, eliminates front wheel shimmying, corrects
over-steering and reduces vehicle wandering. Installing one of these
steering stabilizer units will improve both safety and handling, keeping
your coach traveling effortlessly down a natural center line with the
very little movement of the steering wheel required.

How the Steering Control Works
The Safe-T-Plus Steering Control unit is made in four different versions, one of which will perfectly fit your Class A or C coach. Each RV steering stabilizer gets paired with one of the RV mounting brackets specifically designed to fit your motorhome's chassis type. The stabilizer, which consists of heavy-duty metal coils and an integrated hydraulic piston, is capable of absorbing the "shock" produced by potholes, road ruts, pavement drops, and even front tire blowouts. Installation takes only about an hour, with no welding or drilling required. Once installed and adjusted, no ongoing maintenance or adjustment is required.
