RoadMaster EZ4 & EZ5 Series 'Hidden' Tow Bar Base Plate

EZ4 and EZ5 RoadMaster tow brackets have a clean, uncluttered look whether you're towing or driving. A spring-loaded locking system allows the brackets to be recessed even farther than earlier models. Both locks 'click' as each of the front arms are rotated into position. Simply pull a ring and twist the front arms 90 degrees to remove them.

Safety cable anchor tabs are located for convenience and ease of use. Since the tabs will accommodate a snap hook, the safety cables can be connected directly to the bracket, eliminating the short “bracket” safety cables entirely. These brackets also have a convenient, built-in mounting point for the electrical socket.

For EZ5 brackets only — Design enhancements eliminate the quick disconnect crossbar in this model. EZ5 brackets are for motorhome-mounted tow bars only. (Please note: EZ5 brackets will not accommodate the Guardian, Stowaway, Nixtopper or the 4700 Tow Defender). Features of EZ5 RoadMaster base plates include:

Roadmaster XL Series 'Hidden' Tow Bar Base Plate

The visible portion of these RoadMaster tow brackets (front arms) can be easily removed when not towing. Remove two hitch pins to convert from towed car to road car in seconds!

RoadMaster MX Series 'Hidden' Tow Bar Base Plate

The MX Tow Bar Base Plate is very similar to the XL in that the visible portion of the brackets can be easily removed when not towing. All it takes to convert from towed car to road car in seconds is removing two hitch pins. But that’s where the similarities of the two RoadMaster towing base plates end. The MX Tow Bar Base Plate doesn’t use a crossbar and hooks directly to the RoadMaster Tow Bar with two pins.

Note: the RoadMaster MX Tow Bar Base Plate Bracket does not accommodate the Guardian rock shield, Stowaway, some models of the Tow Defender, the StowMaster and StowMaster All Terrain tow bars.

RoadMaster MS Series Tow Bar Base Plate

MS Series mounting brackets are identical to MX Series brackets, except that the front arms are not removable.
